Q: How far in advance should I book baby and/or pet equipment rentals for Spain?

Book as soon as you've confirmed your flights and accommodation to guarantee the best selection and your preferred equipment. During peak seasons (April-June and September-October), early booking is especially important. That said, we can often accommodate last-minute requests within 48-72 hours based on location and availability.

Where will my rented baby or pet equipment be delivered?

Accepted Answer

We deliver to any address in downtown Madrid and Barcelona—hotels, Airbnbs, vacation rentals, or even a relative's home. Please note we don't deliver to airports, ports, or locations outside the downtown core. Our team coordinates directly with your accommodation to ensure smooth delivery. For hotels, equipment is typically delivered to the concierge or reception and brought to your room before or upon your arrival.

Question 3

Will someone set up the equipment, especially cribs?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Full-size cribs and more complex items come with setup included. Our delivery team will assemble everything and ensure it's safe and functional before they leave. You'll walk into a completely baby-ready space. Simpler items like high chairs and strollers arrive ready to use.

What if I'm moving between cities in Spain during my trip?

Accepted Answer

We can arrange for equipment to be delivered to multiple locations! Many families rent items for their first destination, then have fresh equipment waiting at their next stop. Alternatively, you can transport smaller items (like high chairs or booster seats) between cities yourself if you prefer.

Is renting baby equipment really cheaper than checking it on the airline?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes! While airlines allow free gate-checking of strollers and car seats, they explicitly don't cover damage—and damage is common. If your $400 stroller gets crushed in cargo, you're replacing it out-of-pocket. Renting costs a fraction of replacement and eliminates that risk entirely. Plus, you save checked baggage fees for the other baby items you won't need to pack.

Can I rent equipment for just a few days, or is there a minimum?

We offer flexible rental periods from as short as 3 days to several weeks or months. Pricing is typically structured with daily, weekly, and monthly rates, with longer rentals offering better value per day.

Question 7

What equipment should I definitely NOT try to bring from North America?

Accepted Answer

Skip bringing: full-size cribs/pack-n-plays (too bulky), full-size strollers (airline damage risk), high chairs (impossible to transport), car seats if not renting a car (unnecessary weight), and beach gear (available everywhere in Spain for cheap). Focus on bringing only what you need during travel itself.

What if my flight is delayed or my arrival time changes?

Accepted Answer

No problem! Just notify us as soon as you know about the delay. We offer flexible delivery windows and can coordinate with your accommodation to ensure your equipment is waiting for you whenever you arrive. Many hotels and vacation rentals will accept deliveries on your behalf.
